It has been a slow start to the year but we can finally confirm that the big ladies (pike) have finally started to resurface. And don't forget we have a fully stocked tackle shop on-site.
In the past week, we have already had two great pikes caught from two separate anglers. It is safe to say that the big ladies are back to play. We have now restocked our dead bait and have a freezer full of roach, perch, pollan, mackerel and sand eels or pike packs. Prices start @ £3.00 per-pack
The first pike that was caught was an impressive 26lb-er by angler Sean O'Hagan. Take a look at some of the pics of his catch.
The second pike was caught only a couple of days later by angler Cathal McCool on our pollan dead bait. Although not quite as big as Sean's monster, it was still a lump of a monster and weighed nearly 25 lbs. Have a look at some of the pics of Catchal's catch
